My favorite geography fact: Cape Town, South Africa is the same distance south of the equator as San Diego, California is north of the equator.
My favorite Joke: What's green and had 16 wheels?
-Grass! (I lied about the wheels.)
My favorite place: Hiking around the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa.
Other stuff: I've been to Europe 4 times, but I've never been outside the airports because each time I was just on a layover for a flight to somewhere else.

My favorite geography fact: During summer in the United States, the Earth is the furthest from the sun it will ever be. During winter it is the closest to the sun it will ever be.
My favorite Joke: Why does the Boogie Man know all the map symbols? - Because he is a legend!
My favorite backpacking trip: The Virgin River Narrows in Zion Canyon, Utah.

My favorite geography fact: A lot of the foods that we think are European are actually from The Americas. For example: the potato, which is so common in Ireland, and the tomato, which is so important for Italian cooking, are both from Central and South America.
My favorite Joke: What do you call a cow with no legs? - Ground Beef!
