Brief Biography:

Elaine Kim is a professor of Asian American Studies at the University of California, Berkeley, and is the Acting Associate Dean of the Graduate Division. She is the former chair of the Comparative Ethnic Studies Department, former Faculty Assistant for the Status of Women, and former Assistant Dean of the College of Letters and Science at UC Berkeley.
