Brief Biography:
Robert Urstein received his Bachelor's from Claremont McKenna, and then received his Masters and Ph.D. in American Studies from the University of Iowa. He taught at the University of Iowa from 1989 to 1993. He is the chair of the English/American Studies department at San Francisco University High School. He is also an instructor with UC Berkeley Extension. Urstein was a Fulbright Scholar to Norway for the academic year 2000-2001, where he served as a Roving American Studies Scholar for the Royal Norwegian Ministry of Education.
