Irvington District

Like Centerville, Irvington district is located in the flatlands of Fremont and is therefore completely developed (save for the area flanking the railroad tracks). Also like Centerville and Niles as well, the old downtown of pre-Fremont Irvington is intact and is a lively, prosperous place. Old brick commercial buildings stand alongside newer strip malls. Business signage displays highly diversified ethnicities. High design signs along Washington and Fremont Blvds. proudly announce the town center: IRVINGTON.
Residential areas are older with many streets palm tree-lined. Houses display a variety of income levels.
This district has a cohesive feel and a strong sense of place.
