Morphology, Distribution, and Habitat (After Mason, 1957 and Hickman, 1993)

The seed is 0.8-1.9 millimeters and ridged. The plant is common in moist streamsides and/or disturbed coastal sites; low altitudes in Coast Ranges from San Luis Obispo County to Sonoma County.
