Morphology, Distribution, and Habitat (After Mason, 1957)

The seeds are oblong-cylindric, faintly reticulate, often with a whitish, memebranous surface. The plant is common and widespread on wet ground from sea level to an elevation of 10,000 feet: throughout California.
