Morphology, Distribution, and Habitat (Hickman, 1993)

The fruit body is 10-25 millimeters. The plant is found in ditches, shores, and streambanks at elevations less than 900 meters. Its is distributed along the coast, in the southwest Mojave Desert, and in the Great Central Valley.
