Morphology, Distribution, and Habitat (After Mason, 1957 and Hickman, 1993)

The seed is about 1 millimeter, glabrous. The plant is found in in salt marshes and alkaline flats. The plant is distributed in the San Joaquin Valley to Inyo County, in the eastern Mojave Desert, Imperial Valley, and east to Texas.
